Capabilities At a Glance
When obstacles like wetlands, streets, buildings, rivers, and creeks stand in the way, we use HDD to install conduit without surface disruption. Conduits for fiber, water, sewer, gas, and electric can be installed under roads, waterways, and buildings with no traffic disruption.
Our experienced team handles all types of excavation and trenching for conduit, drainage, electrical, waterlines, sewer lines, HVAC piping, and gas. We routinely work for towns, utility companies, plumbers, electricians, and contractors — leaving every site fully restored.
Hydrovac combines high-pressure water with a powerful vacuum to safely expose underground utilities without damaging pipes or other components. Unearthed material is stored in vacuum truck tanks — significantly reducing damage risk near live utilities like gas, water, and electric.
Aerial fiber is installed by stringing and bolting overhead cables on existing utility and telephone poles. Our crews handle all strand and lashing, hardware installation, and aerial fiber placement with the right equipment to work safely at height on any pole configuration.
Our team uses the IKE platform to gather pole data, delivering actionable insights on power and communication infrastructure with advanced structural analysis — speeding up and simplifying the pole application process for any make-ready or attachment project.

Splicing & Test Methods
American Cable Services field crews perform both fusion and mechanical fiber splicing on OSP and premises networks. Fusion splicing uses an electric arc to join fiber ends with minimal signal loss — the preferred method for permanent long-haul connections.
Fiber optic testing verifies the performance of optical fiber cabling before and after installation. Our field crews perform insertion loss testing, optical return loss testing, OTDR analysis, and fiber length measurements — delivering certified test results for every project.
